Henry Street is the nearer of Dublin's 2 major shopping districts. It is a 5 minute walk from our door. Go left onto Talbot Street, walking towards & past The Spire, and then onto Henry Street. Two major shopping centres and two prominent
department stores can be found on this busy
street. Jervis Street Shopping centre is at the
lower end of Henry Street. It is a very
comprehensive shopping centre including many of
the British Chains such as Boots, Debenhams and
Argos. The recently redeveloped Roches Stores has also enhanced Henry Street's reputation as one of Dublin's main shopping districts. Roches Stores has exclusively introduced over 20 of the top international brands to Ireland for the first time. One of these widely acclaimed international brands, Zara is a major part of the new look Roches Stores. It is the first to open in the Republic of Ireland and is 20,000 sq ft in stature. There are five floors to the revamped Roches Stores stocking everything from Home and Giftware, Fashionwear, Accessories and Cosmetics. Roches also provide customer service desks, ATM's, the Atrium Restaurant which seats 250 people, a juice bar and a café. There are lots of small and independent shops on Henry Street. The Body Shop, Korky's, The Levi's Store, Envy, and budget shops such as Japan and No Name can all be found on this colourful street. Henry Street is undoubtedly one of Dublin's best shopping districts, catering for all shoppers tastes. |
